Comfort Food Recipes for Bread Makers
It is easy to be creative and make interesting pastries and baked goodies with your bread maker nowadays. Most bread makers offer more than five programs which you can even modify. You can follow the recipes below:
1. Recipe for Feta and Spinach Twist
Ingredients:
a. a cup of water
b. a half cup of Feta cheese that have been crumbled
c. one egg that is medium in size
d. one and half teaspoon of olive oil
e. three and three fourths cup of flour for the bread
f. one and one fourth teaspoon of yeast
Ingredients for the filling:
a. ten ounces of spinach preferably fresh
b. one tablespoon of butter that was melted
c. one clove of garlic that has been minced
d. one fourth cup of cheese preferably Parmesan
e. two teaspoons of oregano of the dry kind
f. a half cup of Feta cheese that has been crumbled
g. one fourth cup of olives that has been sliced
Ingredients for the topping:
a. whites of one egg
b. one tablespoon of water
c. one tablespoon of cheese
Instructions:
Make sure the entire ingredients are measured correctly and pour them into the pan. Choose the cycle for the dough on the panel. The filling should be washed first and be dried thoroughly first. Take off the stems of the Spinach. Put the spinach inside the microware. This allows the spinach to get wilted.
If you would like to use the frozen type bought in a grocery make sure to chop it well. Take one bowl of a regular size and mix the ingredients altogether. Take out the dough and put it in a counter that has been covered with flour. Spread a towel over the dough and let it rise for fifteen minutes. Roll the dough to it to rise for 15 minutes. Lastly roll the dough to create a large rectangle.
Put the filling in the dough and leave a half inch on the sides. Pour Feat cheese all over with some olives and roll it afterwards and then just pinch the sides lightly in closing it up. Cut it up in the middle with a length wise manner so it will not get crushed. Then twist them like a rope.
Put it inside the bucket or pan allowing the product to rise for one hour. When it is done it should be twice the size. Brush some egg whites and sprinkle some cheese on it. Put it in the oven and bake it for one hour.
2. Recipe for cinnamon bread with raisins
It is necessary that you remember never to put the cinnamon close to the yeast because the yeast will most probably not work at all. Put the cinnamon halfway of the mixing operation.
Ingredients:

b. one medium sized egg
c. one and one fourth teaspoon salt
d. a one fourth cup of sugar preferably brown
e. two tablespoons of the shortening
f. one and half teaspoons of powdered cinnamon

i. a cup of some raisins
Instructions:
Try using some nuts for this mixture as well. Pour the entire ingredients inside the bucket and choose the right cycle.
