Recipes for Bread Mixes for Breadmakers

Making bread maker mixes will help you save a lot of time even money. Below are some excellent and easy recipes. Preparation time for them can be from ten to twenty minutes.

1. Traditional Bread Mix

Ingredients:

a. three cups of flour
b. two tablespoons of sugar
c. one tablespoon non-fat powdered milk
d. one and a half teaspoon of salt
e. two and a half fresh yeast that is active
f. one and one fourth cups of lukewarm water
g. one tablespoon of oil

Preparation:

In a big bowl combine the sugar, flour, milk and the salt. Put them in a jar about one quart in size then place the lid. Place the yeast in a small plastic zip lock and put the first mixture from the jar then close it. Label it and make sure to keep it in a cool storage.

When you want to make the bread just put some lukewarm water and the oil under the pan of the bread make. Put the non liquid ingredients that were kept in the jar above the liquid ones and setting the yeast aside. Follow the instructions of the supplier of your bread maker then choose the color of the crust you want. It is better to choose the white color. Take the bread from the bread maker’s bucket for the cooling process for one hour then serve it.
 
2. Another Version of the Mix for the Regular White Bread
 
Ingredients:

a. three cups of flour
b. two tablespoons of any sugar
c. one tablespoon powdered milk
d. one and a half teaspoon of salt

Pour the ingredients in a zip bag that is gallon in size. It is better to put a label and then sealing it. You can keep this a day before you make the bread.

When you decide to make the bread there are some ingredients you still need like:

a. two and one half teaspoon dry and fresh yeast.
b. one and one fourth cups of lukewarm water
c. one tablespoon oil

3. Mix for the Potato Bread

Ingredients:

a. three and one fourth cups of flour
b. a half cup of flakes made of potatoes
c. one tablespoon of sugar
d. one and one half teaspoon of salt
Preparation:

Put all of the mentioned ingredients in a zip bag preferably the gallon size. Store it inside your fridge but not in the freezer.

Preparing the mix before the process of baking using your bread maker would save you a lot of time especially on a work day. You just have to take the mix from your refrigerator and start the baking right away.
