Using a Breadmaker to Bake It
Breadmakers have been around for quite a while and this Japanese invention finally is worth looking at. A good breadmaker machine may cost between $50 and $400, and they all come with an instruction manual that may even include some recipes so that you can start practicing using a breadmaker. We will give you a little introduction on the do’s and the don’ts of using a breadmaker at home so that you will be able to stay away from fatal and costly mistakes.
A breadmaker machine is operated by a computer chip which is found within the setting buttons. This computer chip is the most expensive and delicate part about using a breadmaker machine and it would be very hard to replace the computer chip because all the programmable cycles and modes are stored within this chip. To avoid any damages to this chip while using a breadmaker machine, you should always unplug your breadmaker if you are not using it, because this chip is sensitive to changes in voltage. Getting a surge protector will also help you maintain your computer chip while using a breadmaker.
Before you will be using a breadmaker, you will prepare the dough first or rather the mix for the dough. The breadmaker makes the dough automatically once you placed all the dry ingredients in the machine. The mix consists of all the necessary ingredients such as bread flour, sugar, salt, water, olive oil, and yeast. Always follow the instructions of the manual as to which order you should be placing the ingredients. For most of the breadmaker machines, you will have t place the liquids and the yeast in the end or else the dough will be activated and the yeast will rise right away.
The most standard way of using a breadmaker is to use the white cycle or basic cycle. These two vary in name which each breadmaker model, but the mode is usually the same and the most essential because it makes the simple white bread and the wheat breads. These cycles are already pre-programmed and have a programmed timer so that you can just relax and let the breadmaker take care of the bread. Do not try to reprogram it while it is already baking the bread because this will cause damaged to the computer chip and once your bread is done you should always let it cool. When bread cools off, the bread grows stronger and will not fall apart upon slicing.
Serve your bread once it cooled off or reheat it in your toaster if you prefer it hot. You now see that you need to maintain certain standard procedures when using a breadmaker, but none of them is too hard of complicated to follow which means that you can just enjoy baking more and more bread the right way.
